An SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is a digital certificate that is used to safeguard the data transfer process between the browser and the server. An SSL certificate is a legal sign that indicates that “Your Website is Secure”. Safe to visit, safe to make transactions, and safe for personal activities (providing personal data).

Meanwhile, if you want to carry out the purchasing process offline, you can send an email to the SSL Singapore team sales@sslmalaysia.com.my

SSL certificate types are divided into two broad categories, based on the type of validation and based on the number of domains you want to protect. Based on the type of validation, there are 3 types, namely Domain Validation, Organization Validation and Extended Validation. Meanwhile, based on the number of domains you want to secure, they are divided into 3 types, namely Single Domain, Wildcard and Multi Domain types.

Before purchasing an SSL certificate, make sure you know the type of SSL according to your needs and budget. Make sure you understand how many domains and sub domains you will secure, what your website will be used for (portfolio, ecommerce, or catalogue) because each website will be recommended a different level of encryption. It is very easy to distinguish websites that use SSL certificates. You can check the URL of the site. Usually websites that use SSL will have a visual secure indicator such as “https” “green padlock” or a green company name.

Usually websites without SSL will display “http” or be blocked from entering your website.
